In therapeutic work, we don’t ask children to explain their art - we watch the process. How they move, repeat, press into materials, and return tells us what words can’t.

These actions are the nervous system at work, with art holding what the body is processing. When art becomes outcome-focused, creativity narrows. When it becomes process-based, regulation, curiosity, and development deepen.

This course will help you see art differently and understand how your environment and responses can support or limit children’s regulation, expression, and learning. When we hold art with this awareness, it becomes more than an activity. It becomes a tool for connection and development.
